Victorian High Country Huts Trek (7 days)

NATURETOURISMCERTnewThe High Country in Victoria is without question the best 4wd location in Australia and it is easily our most popular trip. This is a special trip devoted to visiting as many huts as possible in the week of touring that we have. We will visit at least 20 Huts on this High Country Huts tour, camp in some sensational campsites, at times beside the Hut or in secluded bush style camps with no facilities. I have included the last nights' accommodation and dinner in Dargo.

This trip will be led by my guide Wylie McGinnes who is a member of the High Country Huts Association and who has been personally involved in the maintenance, rebuild and general oversight of many of our High Country Huts. A portion of the proceeds from this trip will be donated to the High Country Huts Association to assist with the ongoing maintenance and rebuilding of these fantastic huts ($100 per booking is donated to the Association). Sadly, each year many huts are destroyed by wildfire or vandalism, if we want to keep this aspect of our unique high country heritage available for future generations to visit, then we all need to do our part in assisting, this trip is designed to do exactly that.

Tour includes one nights accommodation & dinner at the famous Dargo Hotel.
